Customer support teams in Kuwait keep hitting the same wall: message volume grows, headcount does not. The result is the same ten questions answered by hand, slow first replies, and customers who write three times about one order.
AI does not fix that on its own. Used properly, it absorbs the repetitive questions so the team can spend its time on the cases that actually need a person.
Before you evaluate any tool, open your last hundred conversations and list the ten most repeated questions. They are usually: where is my order, how long is delivery, how do I return something, what are your branches, and what payment methods do you accept. If those ten cover most of your inbox, you have your scope.
If you train an assistant on outdated or unverified content, it will answer confidently and be wrong. That is worse than staying silent.
This is the most important decision in the project. Make the transfer automatic when:
The handoff itself must be smooth: the full transcript plus a two-line summary should reach the agent, so the customer does not repeat everything from the start.
Do not count total messages as success. A fast assistant that answers a question it misunderstood raises the message count and lowers satisfaction.
The agent who used to answer "where is my order" twenty times a day now handles the hard cases and reviews what the assistant said. That needs training in reading summaries, editing answers, and logging the cases the system got wrong.
Book a weekly slot to review transcripts and update the source content at the same speed your policies change. An assistant degrades the moment the gap grows between what it says and what your business actually does.
AI in customer support is not a giant project. It starts with repeated questions, clean sources and a clear line to a human. Q8DM is a Kuwaiti software development, design and training company operating since 1998, and it builds support assistants on business channels.
