For most Kuwaiti businesses, the WhatsApp Business account is where orders arrive, quotes go out, and the team talks to customers. That is exactly why losing it hurts more than losing a phone number: the conversation history and the trust attached to it go with it.
There is no clever hack in most cases. Three routes cover nearly everything, and all three depend on a person being asked for something.
The common thread is a request for something secret. WhatsApp does not ask customers for a code or a password, by call or by message.
Turn it on in the account settings. After that, any new login needs a six-digit PIN that only you know, on top of the code sent to the phone.
That combination is the whole point: even if a code leaks, the PIN still blocks the login. Choose a PIN that is not a birthday or a sequence, and keep it somewhere the entire team cannot read.
This is the question most companies skip. If the business number is registered in the name of an employee who has since left, the account sits with them on paper. Register the number under the company, keep the contract accessible, and make sure more than one responsible person can act when needed.
The app lists every linked device. Open that list regularly and remove anything you do not recognise. A "new login" alert you did not cause is not a routine notification, it is an incident.
Daily backups will not stop a takeover, but they shorten the recovery and bring the chat history back faster once the account is restored.
Protecting an account means little if four employees can hand over a verification code. Name who can log in, who replies to customers, and route every request for a code or an "urgent security update" to one responsible person instead of letting staff improvise. Half an hour of training saves a week of chaos.
Speed matters more than perfection here. Every hour of delay is another round of messages sent in your company's name.
